It does not leak across.
When you come back to that character — minutes later, or weeks later — those facts are injected into the character's context before they see your new message. Why does this matter? Two reasons, one obvious and one less so. The obvious reason is continuity. Long-running interactions with a character depend on the character being a stable entity that knows you over time. Without memory, every conversation is a polite first date. The less obvious reason is intimacy without surveillance.
